Johannesburg had a horrible spate of Xenophobic attacks. I always prefer shoots that have meaning, so started thinking about this with Jes. I really wanted to shoot Huguette, an African immigrant, with her incredible unusual look, in high fashion, in stark contrast to the everyday surroundings of central Johannesburg.

On a shoot like this the team is everything, and my team nailed it.
